Personal tax
Your personal taxes, done right and planned ahead.
I prepare and e-file T1 returns for individuals and families in BC, including the parts most software gets wrong: rental income, self-employment, investments, foreign income and the year you moved to or from Canada.
i.What's included
Everything you need, nothing you don't.
- Preparation and e-filing of your T1 return

- Spouse and family returns prepared together
- A short summary of your result before anything is filed
- A look at next year: instalments, RRSP and FHSA room, and what to expect

- Help with CRA letters and reviews, quoted separately
ii.Who it's for
Employees with more than a T4, landlords, freelancers, incorporated owners, newcomers to Canada, and anyone who wants a CPA to check it.
iii.Questions
Good to know.
When is my personal tax return due?
For most people, 30 April. If you or your spouse are self-employed, the filing deadline is 15 June, but any balance owing is still due 30 April.
What documents will I need?
After our call I send a short intake form and a personal checklist based on your answers, so you only gather what applies to you.
Can you file returns for previous years?
Yes. Catch-up returns are quoted separately, per year.
